Starting from the dunes and the beach of Bec d’Andaine or from Saint-Léonard, an old fishing village, your guide will help you discover this vast natural environment, at the crossroads of worlds, subject to the permanent dance of water, sand, and clay. Between two tides, venture into the territory of the Archangel and the Dragon! Walk on the salt-marsh silt, cross the rivers, learn about quicksand… After a break on dry land in the shelter of the Mount, it will already be time to head back before the sea closes over our footsteps. The tide waits for no one!
This “discovery of the bay” crossing includes commentary on various themes: history, flora, fauna, how tides work, tales and legends, etc.
This option is more accessible. After a guided one-way crossing (about 3 h 30), you will enjoy some free time at the Mount (1 h to 1 h 30) before returning by shuttle and then by bus (1 h 30), accompanied by your guide.
Options: at sunset or during spring tides. Check our calendar.
